The Mueller team was excited to visit in-person with customers and partners at this year’s ACE22 in San Antonio, TX. Booth activity included product demos, and discussions around new products. A customer appreciation event was hosted for further networking after the first day of the show. Continuing each day with high energy, Mueller sponsored “The Metering challenge”, and cheered on the many teams who participated for the coveted event. The international team has been extremely busy this spring heading into summer with exhibitions. Visiting with Customers and discussing product and service solutions. The international team has attended SIWW, iFAT, Ozwater, Interschutz, and Stoc Expo already this year.
The Water Tower is located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and is a hub for water utilities, researchers, and companies to solve critical water and environmental challenges. The facility also aims to provide a better understanding of the resources and workforce needed to support clean water in our communities with the general public at upcoming educational events.
Mueller recently was a part of the 1st Annual Demo Day at The Water Tower. The event had over 200 water utility workers in attendance along with other company partners. Dave Johnston, Director of Smart Infrastructure Field Service, presented Sentryx Water Intelligence Platform.

Case Study: City of Phoenix Water Service Department Utilizes Permaseal Insertion Valve for More Efficient Operations
To limit customer shutdowns and reduce non-revenue water loss, the City of Phoenix Water Service Department installed Mueller Co.’s PermaSeal Insertion Valve to evaluate the capabilities and benefits of its resilient wedge gate valve design. With the use of the PermaSeal Insertion Valve, the City of Phoenix believes it saved in installation time, cost, and maintenance as well as fewer service interruptions – ultimately providing better customer service and more efficient operations within their water network.
The HYMAX® Pro Dedicated Size Coupling is an all-new product family that provides a safer and easier solution for joining plain-end of steel, galvanized, PVC, ductile iron, and other pipe materials, of the same size – all without welding and/or special pipe fittings. Applicable to the water and wastewater, irrigation, and industrial markets, the HYMAX Pro dedicated size couplings are available from sizes 4” to 24”. The 4” - 10” sizes feature an industry-first, two-bolt, stab-fit construction.
The HYMAX Versa® Wrap-Around Coupling now comes in 18” and 24” lengths which allow utilities to seal bigger longitudinal splits on one pipe when installing as a repair clamp or wrap around wider gaps to connect two pipes with the same or differing outside diameters when installing as a coupling. Just like the existing HYMAX Versa couplings, the 18” and 24” options are designed with top-facing bolts to speed up installation and lightweight stainless-steel construction to safeguard the installer’s safety.
The HYMAX® Asset Installer is a simple yet powerful mobile application for water utilities and contractors to catalog, track, and proactively manage their HYMAX assets with the use of QR codes. By establishing the baseline of knowing where all the products are installed, water utilities can better prioritize and fund necessary investments to reduce long-term costs and risks. Through the app, installers can rely on one-click support with onsite technical product resources such as installation instructions. For peace of mind, product warranties are extended up to five years from the day of scan upon successful asset registration with the app.
